At the time of the end, Egypt and her helpers will fall

Just as God is against Gog (Russia...see Ezekiel 38:3), he is also against Egypt.

“Now the Egyptians are men, and not God; and their horses flesh, and not spirit. When the LORD shall stretch out his hand, both he that helpeth shall fall, and he that is holpen shall fall down, and they all shall fall together.” [Isaiah 31:3]

God will smite the seven streams

The Nile is the only river in the world that divides into seven streams (at the Nile Delta)

“And the LORD shall utterly destroy the tongue of the Egyptian sea: and with his mighty wind shall he shake his hand over the river, and shall smite it in the seven streams, and make men go over dry shod.” [Isaiah 11:15]

The annual flood of the Nile River will fail at the time of the end

The last time the annual flood of the Nile River flooded it sent the region into a severe famine that created a situation of worldwide political instability. The word “brooks” can be literally translated “Nile.”

“And the Egyptians will I give over into the hand of a cruel lord; and a fierce king shall rule over them, saith the LORD, the LORD of hosts.

And the waters shall fail from the sea, and the river shall be wasted and dried up

And they shall turn the rivers far away; and the brooks of defense shall be emptied and dried up: the reeds and flags shall wither.” [Isaiah 19:4-6]

Note: The Egyptian leader is king of the south, The Russia leader is King of the North

The flood of the Nile will cause political instability and Egypt will rise up against Russia.

“And at the time of the end shall the king of the south push at him: and the king of the north shall come against him like a whirlwind quickly and with chariots, and with horsemen, and with many ships; and he shall enter into the countries, and shall overflow and pass over.” [Daniel 11:40]

The secret Russian alliance

The Russian Alliance with Persia (Iran), Gomar (Germany) and Togarmah (Turkey)

"Persia, Ethiopia, and Libya with them: all of them with shield and helmet:

Gomar, and all his bands; the house of Togarmah of the north quarters, and all his bands: and many people with thee.

Be thou prepared, and prepare for thyself, thou, and all thy company that are assembled unto thee, and be thou a guard unto them." [Ezekiel 38:5-7]

The Russian alliance attacks

The Russian alliance will attack Egypt with the intent to take over the entire region.

“He shall enter also into the glorious land, and many countries shall be overthrown: but these shall escape out of his hand, even Edom, and Moab, and the chief of the children of Ammon.” [Daniel 11:41]

The land of Egypt, who was at the center of the start of this battle, will not escape:

“He shall stretch forth his hand also upon the countries: and land of Egypt shall not escape.” [Daniel 11:42]

Lybia and Ethiopia at his steps / Russian will take over the treasures of Egypt

Libya and Ethiopia are already under communist control (at his steps), taken in September of 1969. In this century they were renamed these ancient names (from the names of Tripoli and Abyssinia respectively) and their ancient names and territories were restored.

“But he shall have power over the treasures of gold and of silver and over all the precious things of Egypt; and the Libyan and the Ethiopians shall be at his steps.” [Daniel 11:43]

I have made it for myself (Pharaoh)…the Suez Canal

Britain and her allies financed the building of this critical passage, but Egypt, in 1956 seized the Suez Canal and claimed full ownership. Egyptian president Nasser said to Britain, “This is ours.”

“Speak and say, Thus saith the LORD GOD; Behold, I am against thee, Pharaoh king of Egypt, the great dragon that lieth in the midst of his rivers, which hath said, My river is mine own, and I have made it for myself.” [Ezekiel 29:3]

Because Pharaoh said, the river is mine

He will cause the river to fail and the fish to “stick to thy scales” at the same time he makes Egypt desolate.

“But I will put hooks in thy jaws, and I will cause the fish of thy rivers to stick unto thy scales, and I will bring thee up out of the midst of thy rivers, and all the fish of thy rivers shall stick unto thy scales…

And all the inhabitants of Egypt shall know that I am the LORD, because they have been a staff of reed to the house of Israel...

And the land of Egypt shall be desolate and waste; and they shall know that I am the LORD: because he hath said, The river is mine, and I have made it.” [Ezekiel 29:4-9]

A sword upon Egypt and great pain in Ethiopia

“And the sword shall come upon Egypt, and great pain shall be in Ethiopia, when the slain shall fall in Egypt, and they shall take away her multitude, and her foundations shall be broken down.” [Ezekiel 30:4]

All of Egypt’s helpers will be destroyed

Everyone who allies with Egypt will be destroyed.

“Ethiopia, and Libya, and all the mingled people, and Chub, and the men of the land that is in the league, shall fall with them by the sword.

Thus saith the LORD; They that uphold Egypt shall fall; and the pride of her power shall come down: from the tower of Syene shall they fall in it by the sword, saith the LORD GOD...

...And they shall know that I am the LORD, when I have set a fire in Egypt, and when all her helpers shall be destroyed.” [Ezekiel 30:4-8]

U.S. naval fleet is destroyed

“In that day shall messengers go forth from me in ships to make the careless Ethiopians afraid, and great pain shall come upon them, as in the day of Egypt: for, lo, it cometh.” [Ezekiel 30:9]

The Ships of Chittum

The ships of Chittim (Cyprus) shall intervene and grieve Russia. The United States sixth Naval fleet is stationed in the Mediterranean off the coast of Cyprus:

“At the time appointed he shall return, and come toward the south; but it shall not be as the former, or as the latter…

…For the ships of Chittim shall come against him: therefore he shall be grieved, and return, and have indignation against the holy covenant: so shall he do; he shall even return and have intelligence with them that forsake the holy covenant.

And arms shall stand on his part, and they shall pollute the sanctuary of strength, and shall take away the daily sacrifice, and they shall place the abomination that maketh desolate.” [Daniel 11:30-31]

The United States cannot help Egypt

It is not apparent who the United States is in the region to support, but if she is there to help Egypt, she will not be able to stop the fall of Egypt, for God has determined its fall. And if she does help Egypt, she will also fall down.

“Now the Egyptians are men, and not God; and their horses flesh, and not spirit. When the LORD shall stretch out his hand, both he that helpeth shall fall, and he that is holpen shall fall down, and they all shall fall together.” [Isaiah 31:3]

A fire in Egypt

It appears that there will be a nuclear strike on Egypt, possibly with nuclear fallout coming down on the Ethiopians causing “great pain in Ethiopia” [Ezekiel 30:4]

“And they shall know that I am the LORD, when I have set a fire in Egypt, and when all her helpers shall be destroyed.” [Ezekiel 30:8]

Tidings from the east

A military threat from China shall ignite a full Russian assault:

“But tidings out of the east and out of the north shall trouble him: therefore he shall go forth with great fury to destroy, and utterly to make away with many.” [Daniel 11:44]

The Euphrates also dries up / China and Allies (Kings of the East) Attack

The Euphrates is dried up, to make way for the Kings of the East (China), who will come to trouble the Russian Alliance, and prevent a world conquest. Possibly the same event that dries up the Nile will dry up the Euphrates (i.e. a famine in that part of the world).

“And the sixth angel poured out his vial upon the great river Euphrates; and the water thereof was dried up, that the way of the kings of the east might be prepared.” [Revelation 16:12]

The Russian alliance attacks Israel

Against the mountains of Israel and its people gathered out of many people.

“After many days thou shalt be visited: in the latter years thou shalt come into the land that is brought back from the sword, and is gathered out of many people, against the mountains of Israel, which have been always waste: but it is brought forth out of the nations, and they shall dwell safely all of them.

Thou shalt ascend and come like a storm, thou shalt be like a cloud to cover the land, thou, and all thy bands, and many people with thee.” [Ezekiel 38:8-9]

AND the Russian alliance will attack the United States (by missile), at the same time

“Up” from Russia is the North Pole. Over the North Pole is Canada and the United States. At the same time Russia attacks Israel, it will move also to attack the United States.

“Thus saith the LORD GOD; It shall also come to pass, that at the same time shall things come into thy mind, and thou shalt think an evil thought:

And thou shalt say, I will go up to the land of unwalled villages: I will go to them that are at rest, that dwell safely, all of them dwelling without walls, and having neither bars, nor gates,

To take a spoil, and to take a prey; to turn thine hand upon the desolate places that are now inhabited, and upon the people that are gathered out of the nations, which have gotten cattle and goods, that dwell in the midst of the land.” [Ezekiel 38:10-12]

Arabian alliance confronts Russian alliance

The Arabian Alliance then confronts Russia "Are you come to the Israel to take a spoil of their cattle and goods?"

“Sheba, and Dedan, and the merchants of Tarshish, with all the young lions thereof, shall say unto thee,

Art thou come to take a spoil? hast thou gathered thy company to take a prey? to carry away silver and gold, to take away cattle and goods, to take a great spoil?” [Ezekiel 38:13]

Fire on China, England, Ireland, Scotland

A nuclear exchange begins between the Russian alliance and China (Magog) and these careless isles.

“And I will send a fire on Magog and among them that dwell carelessly in the isles: and they shall know that I am the LORD.” [Ezekiel 39:6]

God is against Russia's attack and will intervene

Russian is not a friend of the United States or of righteousness. God is against this communist regime.

“Son of man, set thy face against Gog, the land of Magog, the chief prince Meshech (Moscow) and Tubal (Tubulsk), and prophesy against him,

And say, Thus saith the LORD GOD; Behold, I am against thee, O Gog, the chief prince of Meshech and Tubal:

And I will turn thee back, and put hooks into thy jaws, and I will bring thee forth, and all thine army, horses and horsemen, all of them clothed with all sorts of armour, even a great company with bucklers and shields, all of them handling swords.” [Ezekiel 38:2-4]

God is Furious

There will be a great shaking (a great earthquake which occurs as he descends to the mount of Olives - Zechariah 14:4) in the physical land of Israel, east of Jerusalem.

“And it shall come to pass at the same time when Gog shall come against the land of Israel, saith the LORD GOD, that my fury shall come up in my face.

"For in my jealousy and in the fire of my wrath have I spoken, Surely in that day there shall be a great shaking in the land of Israel.” [Ezekiel 38:18-19]

The great day of the LORD

The plagues upon the earth shall come in one day, the Day of the LORD. Men shall hide in the rocks and cry to the mountains saying, Fall on us and hide us from the face of Him that comes in judgement. At the same time that Gog begins its final onslaught, God will move out of His place to judge the earth. The eyes of many of the nations will then see and know his great name.

“And I will call for a sword against him throughout all my mountains, saith the LORD GOD; every man's sword shall be against his brother.

And I will plead against him with pestilence and with blood; and I will rain upon him, and upon his bands, and upon the many people that are with him, an overflowing rain, and great hailstones, fire, and brimstone.

Thus will I magnify myself, and sanctify myself; and I will be known in the eyes of many nations, and they shall know that I am the LORD.” [Ezekiel 38:20-23]

The marriage supper of the Lamb

The marriage supper of the lamb is not a big dinner for the saints. Gog will fall in the physical land of Israel, upon the mountains leading into Meggido and upon the plain of Meggido, known as Armaggedon, where the blood will reach the horses bridle. During one of the World Wars, the buzzards were so thick in the sky they nearly blotted out the sun. The same will occur at the marriage supper of the lamb as God calls these birds to the “feast.”

Russian alliance defeated

“And I will turn thee back, and leave but the sixth part of thee, and will cause thee to come up from the north parts, and will bring thee upon the mountains of Israel:

And I will smite thy bow out of thy left hand, and will cause thine arrows to fall out of thy right hand.

Thou shalt fall upon the mountains of Israel, thou, and all thy bands, and the people that is with thee: I will give thee unto the ravenous birds of every sort, and to the beasts of the field to be devoured.

Thou shalt fall upon the open field: for I have spoken it, saith the LORD GOD.” [Ezekiel 39:2-5]

The Assyrian (Middle East power) shall fall

By the same sword of God.

"Then shall the Assyrian fall with the sword, not of a mighty man; and the sword, not of a mean man, shall devour him: but he shall flee from the sword, and his young men shall be discomfitted." [Isaiah 31:8]

“And he shall plant the tabernacles of his palace between the seas in the glorious holy mountain; yet he shall come to his end, and none shall help him.” [Daniel 11:45]

All to reveal His holy name

To reveal his name to his people and the heathen round about them. All the nations will then know his holy name.

“So will I make my holy name known in the midst of my people Israel; and I will not let them pollute my holy name any more: and the heathen shall know that I am the LORD, the Holy One of Israel.” [Ezekiel 39:7]

God will judge the nations

"And at that time shall Michael stand up, the great prince which standeth for the children of thy people: and there shall be a time of trouble, such as never was since there was a nation even to that same time: and at that time thy people shall be delivered, every one that shall be found written in the book.

And many of them that sleep in the dust of the earth shall awake, some to everlasting life, and some to shame and everlasting contempt." [Daniel 12:1-2]

The Earth will shake

“…the foundations of the earth do shake.

The earth is utterly broken down, the earth is clean dissolved, the earth is moved exceedingly.

The earth shall reel to and fro like a drunkard, and shall be removed like a cottage: and the transgression thereof shall be heavy upon it; and it shall fall, and not rise again.” [Isaiah 24:18-20]

Sun and Moon ashamed

 “And it shall come to pass in that day, that the LORD shall punish the host of the high ones that are on high, and the kings of the earth upon the earth.

And they shall be gathered together, as prisoners are gathered in the pit, and shall be shut up in the prison, and after many days shall they be visited.

Then the moon shall be confounded, and the sun ashamed, when the LORD of hosts shall reign in mount Zion and in Jerusalem, and before his ancients gloriously.” [Isaiah 24:21-23]
